Draconian laws not only disregard all human rights but even are prepared to desecrate whatever is sacred to humanity and gods. Megacles, who is credited with transforming Athens which was an oligarchy to tyranny made use of draconian laws in its political transformation. They considered themselves as demigods in their nation. Their choice instrument for tyranny is the draconian acts and laws, which are used to justify intimidation, incarceration, violence, kidnapping, embezzlement, torture, rape and plain murders. When elected leaders in democratic nations turn from being political managers to tyrants, they disregard all parliamentary and civil laws which act as checks and balances against the abuse of political governing powers. So, the only way out for them to accomplish tyranny is the use of draconian laws. As draconian laws disregard all human rights, it becomes an inhuman weapon and tool for total control over the citizens of a nation.
